Asset Card provides digital expense management tools tailored to project-based businesses. Users can create digital spend cards, assign them to specific projects, and categorize expenses in real time.

2. Digital Card Issuance and Usage

By using Asset Card, you may request digital spend cards issued through our platform. These cards are managed and provisioned via our financial partner, Stripe. You agree to use these cards solely for authorized business-related transactions. Unauthorized use of digital cards is prohibited and may result in account suspension or termination.

3. Bank Account Linking and Stripe Services

Asset Card leverages Stripe Financial Connections and Stripe Treasury to provide financial infrastructure and bank account integrations. By linking your business bank account, you authorize Stripe and Asset Card to access, initiate transfers, and facilitate payments on your behalf. You must ensure that all linked accounts are valid and owned by your business.

4. User Data and Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Asset Card does not sell, rent, or share your personal or business data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is stored securely and used solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.

5. Payment Authorization and Security

You are responsible for authorizing all transactions initiated through your Asset Card account. We use two-factor authentication (2FA) and One-Time Password (OTP) technology for added security. Unauthorized or suspicious activity must be reported immediately. Asset Card and Stripe may delay or refuse to process a transaction if we suspect fraud or noncompliance with these Terms.

6. Receipt Uploads and AI-Powered Processing

To improve expense tracking, users may be required to upload receipts for purchases. Asset Card uses Google Cloud and proprietary OCR technology to scan and extract relevant data from uploaded receipts, which are then automatically categorized and matched to the appropriate transaction. By using this feature, you consent to the use of automated tools to process uploaded documents.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

- Misuse or tamper with the Service.

- Use false information or impersonate others.

- Engage in fraudulent activity or unauthorized transactions.

8. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, or unlawful behavior.

9. Limitation of Liability

Asset Card is provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Asset Card disclaims all liability for any loss or damage resulting from your use of the Service, including any transaction errors, delays, or unauthorized use.
